IPv6 is an evolution not an expansion of IPv4 and will require some people to learn to change. We can't be haunted by 30 years of CIDR wrecking the internet. In each and every organization I work with that fails to understand IPv6 I like to create documentation or a wiki page about the organizations stance on IPv6.
Very often I make a wiki page that just says "Haha you looked" which is actually pretty deep. I continue to hear from peers well after my exit that the page exists and is both the single best result when searching for IPv6 in the organization and also, unchanged.
Network protocols and technology change. You need to change, if you don't change something in your organization then you are part of the problem.
